“ This was easily the best food we had during our Acadia trip. What a lovely spot! We tried a whole bunch of things: - Oysters - Flash fried lobster tacos - Fish Tacos - Grilled cheese, soup & salad - Burger patty from the dog menu Everything looked and tasted SCRUMPTIOUS. And I absolutely loved that they have a dog menu so we couldn't just treat ourselves after a nice hike, but also my dog. Good service too. Highly recommend! ”
“ I've never heard of this restaurant till before and after a Maine Acadia Tour I went with my boyfriend and I. We saw this restaurant and told each other we go ahead and try this place for early lunch. Boy, we were not disappointed. Our waitress was always kind and made suggestion to the menu. Polite and so upbeat! We were seated upstairs and the seats were very accommodating So we ordered ourselves Lobster Mac n cheese and Rasta Pasta. My boyfriend loved it. However, I felt indifferent about the Rasta Pasta. I was expecting the sauce to be a creamy jerk sauce rather than a light creamy tomato sauce. I had my fair share of Rasta Pasta before but I guess my expectations were kind of high. Perhaps it's their version but in any case the food overall is good. The ingredients tasted fresh and happy to have experienced it. Our desserts were to die for. Blueberry cheesecake and blueberry creme brulee! ”
“ Great spot to visit in Bar Harbor after a day of hiking in Acadia! We got oysters, fish and chips, and lobster cargot to share. The oysters were so fresh and definitely a highlight. The lobster cargot was delicious too, but I wish the fish and chips was a bit crispier. Overall food was great and the service was pretty quick too! The restaurant is spacious so we got seated quickly. It's a great cozy spot for dinner and I recommend adding it to your list if you're in the area! ”
“ Fabulous service and excellent food. The Coconut Shrimp were amazing and they need to bottle that sauce! The dinners were fresh, healthy, and delicious! Charming restaurant with a casual, bar area downstairs and a nicer dining room upstairs with a beautiful view of the harbor. ”
“ We were visiting Bar Harbor for a few days and stopped by Testa's midweek. We don't have a reservation, but they were able to seat 6 of us since it was around 7:30pm. We ate upstairs and enjoyed our food. We weren't eating big meals, but we did see other tables with huge crab legs!the upstairs has lots of table, but it wasn't too noisy. ”
“ We were camping in the area and saw a review for Testa's on RV Life. We made a reservation for after a big hike in Acadia National Park (you don't need reservations but they will take them!). We were seated outside right next to heaters... score! We were promptly greeted by our Server and she was attentive throughout the night. My husband ordered the Taste of Maine (it was about $45 I think) - it had a HUGE lobster, clam chowder, mussels, claims, corn and potatoes. He couldn't finish it all. I'd highly recommend Tests for a great dinner! ”
“ We went to Testa's a little weary as the yelp reviews weren't fabulous. However, I'm so glad we still went! Everybody I was with (which was 6 people) loved their meals!! I would absolutely go back. To start we got calamari and it was so fun having the mix of vegetables within. The sweet Thai chili and ranch was a perfect balance of spice and flavor. Definitely order as a starter. I got the lobster tacos, and boy were they yummy. I couldn't get over the blueberry and pineapple salsa. The tacos had a hefty amount of sauce as well, just the way I like it! David got the halibut and had me try it. It was amazing and so fresh! Definitely recommend upgrading to the fries as well. They were so airy and delicious. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating to my sister who has a lot of food allergies. ”
